Founded in 1912, Montverde Academy is a college preparatory, coeducational independent school. The school is situated at a gorgeous 125 acres campus bordering Lake Florence in central Florida.

Academic and Sport Facilities

Fine Arts Center - a 450-seat professional style theater that boasts dressing rooms, a dance studio, music rooms and an art, ceramic and photography studio. The Kreke Science , Library The George Rast Library has over 13,000 books and has wireless computer access. Athletic Field- Soccer & Track Field, Baseball Field- Baseball Field, Tennis Courts- 3 tennis courts, Gymnasium- 2 gyms. Equestrian Center Features 30 stalls. In addition to the stables the center contains two riding arenas, 7 large turnout paddocks and one large fenced pasture area.

Dormitories and School Residences

Four dormitories house students from over 41 countries. Each of the boy's dormitories and each floor of the girls' dormitory have recreation rooms where students can spend time together playing ping pong or a video game, watching television or a DVD or socializing. There are coin operated washers and dryers for laundry.

Montverde Academy is pleased to offer a full complement of athletic and fine arts opportunities. Our fine arts programs provide opportunities for visual and performing arts in a state of the art 450 seat auditorium complete with an art room, photography lab, ceramics studio, dance studio, music room, and performance area.
