Marianapolis Preparatory School
Conveniently located one hour from Boston in Thompson, CT, Marianapolis is a traditional Northeastern boarding school. Students from the United States and many countries come together to develop the confidence and skills required for academic, intellectual, athletic, and artistic success.
Our small size of 280 students allows faculty that live on campus to develop close, enduring relationships. Students feel welcomed, cared for, and part of the school community right from the start. Our students work hard because academic standards are rigorous, students care about their success, and they take their studies seriously.
Marianapolis is an outstanding community of students, teachers, parents, and alumni who work together to foster an atmosphere of high expectations, trust, and compassion. There is an energy and spirit of character in our school. Students develop their creative talents, devote hours to service and play hard at athletics, as they learn teamwork, fairness, and respect for one another, all integral parts of our mission.
