Lee Academy

Lee Academy is a private, co-educational boarding school located in scenic and safe Lee, Maine, USA with 270 total students, 75 are boarders. Lee Academy was established in 1845 and we have a long history of being a day and boarding school for students from around the world. We have classes for 9-12 grades and postgraduate studies (ages 14-19). We currently have students from 12 countries around the world and 10 states in the US. Our boarders stay in one of four newly renovated housing facilities on campus. Our students take classes preparing them for university, along with classes helping with SAT and TOEFL preparation. Our curriculum emphasizes math, writing, problem solving and personal development. We have small classes, 10 AP courses, and the Academic Learning Lab that is designed to meet individual student needs and ensure personal attention. We offer many activities and athletic opportunities for our students.

Extracurricular Activities

Sports are soccer, cross country, golf, indoor track, basketball, cheerleading, skiing, baseball, softball, tennis. Several clubs are also available and include jazz band, chorus, civil rights team, community service club, peer counselors, drama club, student magazine, French club. Yearbook and Student Council.

Excursions include trips to Canada and major US cities regularly, as well as hiking, canoeing, kayaking and other day and overnight trips.
